Cleanrooms are defined spaces in which the concentration of airborne particles are controlled to meet specific cleanliness classes. This is normally handled through positive air pressure ventilation. Cleanliness classes range from the most clean (ISO 1) to the least clean (ISO 9).
Paramount’s cleanroom luminaires are designed and built to the most exacting standards, for high illumination with integrity. Many are also NSF Certified. We provide lighting with an unyielding shield against contamination! Our offerings include Starduster® LED, fluorescent and H.I.D. light sources; all carry the UL listing.
To ensure and maintain critical cleanroom standards, trust Paramount’s vast experience and reputation in supplying high quality luminaires that meet or exceed meticulous requirements.
Custom luminaires enhance the individual quality of the areas they light. Our custom units meet the design challenges and generate high levels of illumination. Contemporary designers are using Paramount luminaires to achieve dramatic lighting effects. We have the engineering expertise, the experience, the equipment and the manufacturing flexibility to fabricate unique products. We can create “one-of-a-kind” luminaires or produce short runs. You get the best combination of design, technology and craftsmanship.
Paramount’s first Craft Lite® lens was fabricated by B.R. Bailey, the company founder, in the family kitchen in January, 1947. Craft Lites® were marketed by Floodlight Service, Inc. of Flint, Michigan until Paramount Industries was incorporated in 1949. Our Croswell, Michigan manufacturing plant was added in 1960. The company relocated entirely to the Croswell location in the late 1970s, settling in the thumb area near the blue water of Lake Huron.
Paramount has, for over 70 years, been an innovator in the lighting industry. We were the first to design and manufacture industrial lighting luminaires to be installed in the floors and assembly line pits of the automotive plants. We created the first parabolic louvered luminaires in 1958. Paramount was the first manufacturer to address the problems of veiling reflections in radar screens with a luminaire designed for FAA Control Centers in 1959.
Since 1947, Paramount Industries, Inc. has been known for producing a high quality product that will stand the test of time. With the lighting world transitioning to solid state technology, Paramount was committed to developing an LED luminaire that was worthy of carrying the Paramount name. The result is a high quality product that is unmatched in the market.
Paramount’s Starduster® LED line of products are high quality solid state technology luminaires. They are UL/CUL Listed for Wet Location, and also available in NSF Certified Food Processing & Hazardous Location listings. Emergency drivers are available for most models.
Our linear LED C2-C9 Starduster® series are built for extreme conditions with the arrays having a protective conformal coating. Dimming is available. The recessed troffers are available with this option by preceding the part number with an “X”.
The standard recessed Starduster® Flange and Grid troffers are Type IC and have 0-10V dimming standard with DALI and other control options available.
The C1 Starduster® has a NEMA 4X hosedown rating and has a durable impact modified extruded acrylic enclosure. It has a NSF Splash Zone rating available and is perfect for food processing as well as a wide range of other applications. 0-10V dimming is standard.
