Paramount’s C1 Series is the ultimate harsh environment/wet location/food processing luminaire. Available in both LED and Fluorescent models, this luminaire is housed in a 6″ diameter, impact modified acrylic tube with stainless steel endcaps. The C1 Series carries a NEMA 4X hose down rating for a wide range of applications, as well as NSF certified Food Processing (Splash Zone).
The round shape and smooth surfaces excel in many applications because of easy cleanability and resistance to debris collecting on the surface. This luminaire can be chain suspended or wall mounted. The Starduster® LED models have options for both direct and direct/indirect distributions, and has a dimming option as well.
Our factory is located in Croswell, Michigan and we are a “Made in the USA” company. If ever there is a need to design and produce a luminaire for a tough application, please think of us. Turn to Paramount for High Performance Lighting for Specialized Environments.

Type 4X Enclosures Description and Application
Type 4X enclosures are intended for indoor or outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against corrosion, windblown dust and rain, splashing water, hose-directed water, and damage from external ice formation. They are not intended to provide protection against conditions such as internal condensation or internal icing.
The Croton-Harmon Maintenance Facility located at Croton-on-Hudson, NY, has been servicing trains for more than a century, and undergoing renovations since 2001. The improvements were paramount, as prior to the renovation the tracks were not long enough to service an entire train at once. Extending the tracks to service an entire train will allow the maintenance yard to keep their 98% on time record.
