Paramount offers a wide variety of Food Processing luminaires that meet or exceed the most stringent National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) requirements. Paramount’s NSF Certified models make it easy to maintain sanitary conditions. All seams are sealed, preventing the growth of bacteria. Generally lighting used in food preparation facilities only requires Splash Zone / Non-Food Zone certification (Paramount’s S prefix). Carefully check the application requirements and specify models properly equipped with the appropriate prefix.
Paramount offers premium luminaires for general Restaurant lighting, as well as designated Food Processing areas that require an NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) label. NSF International is known for its role in developing standards and criteria for equipment products and services that bear upon health. The NSF mark is widely recognized, and signifies that the article to which it is affixed is certified to comply with applicable standards.

Paramount’s Dynamic Duo, a pair of exceptional luminaires that may not wear capes, but posses the inherent abilities to withstand some of the harshest environments on earth! The 6″ diameter C1 Series, and it’s smaller (but equally capable) partner, the 3″ diameter Q3 Series, are the illumination solutions to your most adverse conditions. The secret lies with all the electronics being safely enclosed inside a 6″ or 3″ diameter, impact modified acrylic tube (or optional polycarbonate) with stainless steel endcaps, keeping harsh elements at bay. This construction technique allows the C1 Series to carry a NEMA 4X Hose Down rating, and the Q3 Series to carry both the IP65 and IP67 rating (fixture is tested submerged under water for 30 minutes) allowing for a wide range of challenging applications, as well as NSF certified Food Processing (Splash Zone).
Paramount offers a wide variety of LED and fluorescent lighting options pertaining to Medical and Healthcare applications. For hospital surgical suite applications we offer our Techniseal® Flange/Grid troffers with acrylic radio frequency interference shielding lenses. This lens is specifically designed for supplemental surgical suite lighting that provides an asymmetrical distribution which directs maximum candle power to the surgical site area with typical luminaire layouts. This also allows for areas surrounding the surgical site to be generously illuminated.
